Announcements and Happenings
The Gowan family and friends are planning to provide a free breakfast to homeless people in Saint John on Christmas Morning from 9 to 11 am at Stone Church. Last year, there was approximately 100 people that came to join in for a wonderful feast. Venus was wondering if the church again might be interested in helping out by making a donation towards the meal and/or the cards. Volunteers are welcome as well as donations of ten dollar Tim Horton or Giant Tiger gift certificates or the cash to buy to buy them. The cards are gifts for the persons who attend the free breakfast, a little something they can take away with them for Christmas Day. There is still time for you to volunteer or donate to this very worthy cause. For more information, call Venus at 832-3311

516 people enjoyed the Strawberry Festival Supper at Bloomfield Hall on July 7, 2011. Many thanks to Irene for organizing the event every year and also to the many volunteers that helped to make it a success.
The Strawberry Supper is the primary fundraiser for the maintenance of the Bloomfield Hall and we are very thankful for the wonderful support of all who joined us for to support this worthy cause. There is nothing like inviting 500 of your friends home for supper!!!
